This policy explains how Ideas All Day Ltd., the operator of FeaturePortal ("we"), handles personal data when you visit the website, create an account, purchase a plan, or use FeaturePortal in an app or website. Ideas All Day Ltd. is the controller for the account, website, billing, security, and direct-support processing described below.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, verification status, and account identifiers.
- Workspace data: project details, API keys, settings, feature requests, votes, comments, tags, and public-roadmap content.
- App-user data: pseudonymous app-user identifiers and activity submitted through the iOS SDK or web widget. A customer may also submit an email address with a request.
- Billing data: subscription status, plan, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, invoice details, and billing contact data. Stripe receives and processes payment-card details; FeaturePortal does not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: request metadata, rate-limit identifiers, security logs, page views, referral information, and product-funnel events.
- Communications: messages you send to support and transactional email delivery records.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide accounts, projects, feedback workflows, integrations, public roadmaps, and support.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, rate-limit requests, diagnose failures, and protect the service.
- Process subscriptions, reconcile payments, issue invoices, and notify you about billing events.
- Send verification, password-reset, digest, and service-related email.
- Measure page and funnel performance and improve FeaturePortal.
- Comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
Depending on the context, these activities are based on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where consent is required.
3. Customer & App-User Roles
For personal data that a customer sends through its project, SDK, or widget, the customer determines the purpose and Ideas All Day Ltd. processes that data on the customer's behalf to provide FeaturePortal. App users should contact the relevant app owner first about requests concerning that project data.
4. Service Providers & Disclosures
We use service providers to operate FeaturePortal. These may include Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, PostHog for limited product analytics, Upstash for rate limiting and webhook deduplication, and hosting and database providers such as Vercel and the configured managed database provider. They process data under their own terms and data-protection commitments. We may also disclose data when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Analytics, Cookies & Local Storage
FeaturePortal uses essential authentication and security storage needed to keep accounts signed in and protect requests. Landing-page analytics are configured without automatic interaction capture, session recording, or persistent browser analytics identifiers. Dashboard display preferences and the web widget's pseudonymous app-user identifier may be stored in local storage on the relevant device.
6. Retention & Security
We retain account and workspace data while an account is active and for a limited period afterward when needed for recovery, security, billing, legal, or operational purposes. Verification and reset codes expire automatically. Payment and transaction records may be retained for legally required periods. We use access controls, password hashing, transport encryption, scoped API keys, signature verification, and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. International Transfers
Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected using recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or a provider's valid transfer framework.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
9. Children
FeaturePortal is a business software service and is not directed to children. Customers must not intentionally use it to collect children's personal data without the notices, permissions, and safeguards required by applicable law.
